Whippet Review: A beautiful quarterly publication that explores the international show scene, in-depth articles on the breed and highlights influential figures.  This magazine is accessible to those that admire whippets and not limited to the show world. Unfortunately it is now discontinued.  
The Whippet: by Bo Bengtson. The definitive book on "the whippet".  Bo explores the history of the breed, pivotal kennels in the United Kingdom, Europe and North America, dogs that have changed the course of our breed's history. A must read for any serious fancier or enthusiastic whippet owner.

AWC Regional Specialties: The AWC holds seven regional specialties throughout the year in addition to the National Specialty. 
Canadian National Whippet Specialty: Will be held in July 27th 2024 Abbotsford, BC. 
Westminster Kennel Club:
It used to occur the second week of February.  Now it occurs during the month of May.  
AKC National Championship Show: Occurs annually in December, Orlando, Florida
Crufts, Occurs mid-March, in Birmingham, UK 
World Dog Show will be held in Zagreb, Croatia 25th -28th April 2024
